Posada is an Italian municipality in northeastern Sardinia in the province of Nuoro with 3085 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The Most Beautiful Places in Italy).

The neighboring municipalities are Budoni ( SS ), Siniscola and Torpè .

The picturesque old town is located on a mountain. The old castle ruins "Castello della Fava", the symbol of Posada on the top of this mountain, can be seen from afar.
