Triei is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1096 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 11.5 kilometers north-northwest of Tortolì . The Pramaera flows through the municipality .

history

A particularly old giant grave was discovered in 1989. In 1316 the name of the community was first mentioned in a document. The village of Osono , established in 1217, has now fallen desolate.
