Anto Domazet

Anto Domazet (born April 30, 1947 in Verd , Yugoslavia , today part of the municipality of Vrhnika , Slovenia ) is a Bosnian economist and politician ( Socijaldemokratska partija Bosne i Hercegovine ).

Life

Anto Domazet went to school in Doboj . In 1969 he graduated from the University of Belgrade with a degree in economics . From 1969 to 1987 he was employed in the management of the Budućnost oil refinery in Modriča , from 1980 as deputy general director. Alongside he completed a postgraduate degree in 1973-1977 marketing at the University of Osijek , where he in 1986 with a thesis on growth strategies for major corporations doctorate was. From 1987 to 1997 Domazet worked for Energoinvest in Sarajevo and for its subsidiary Energopetrol . Since 1997 he has been a full professor of marketing at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo .

He was a member of the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia since 1965 ; today he is a member of the SDP, to whose board he was elected in 2004. From 2001 to 2003 he was Minister of the Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( Ministar Trezora institucija BiH ). When his party friend Zlatko Lagumdžija became foreign minister in February 2012 and gave up his mandate, Domazet took over and has been a member of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina ever since .
