Anton Dobmeier (born February 26, 1921 in Seligenporten ; † December 8, 2011 in Hersbruck ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Dobmeier, born in Seligenporten in 1921, attended elementary school and the humanistic grammar school in Burghausen and Amberg . After graduating from high school, he was called up for Reich Labor and Military Service and took part in the Second World War as a soldier at the front, was wounded three times as a volunteer in the infantry and received high war awards. After the end of the war, Dobmeier studied forestry and political science at the University of Munich and received the state examination for the higher forest civil service and was most recently chief forestry director in the Bavarian state forest administration.

Act

Dobmeier was a local councilor in Hersbruck and district manager, later chairman of the CSU district association Hersbruck and Nürnberger Land. He was district councilor and parliamentary group chairman in the Hersbruck district , member of the Middle Franconia district council and later district councilor of the Nürnberger Land district . From 1974 to 1990 Dobmeier was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was always directly elected in the constituency of Nürnberger Land .

Anton Dobmeier died on December 8, 2011 at the age of 90.

Awards

  • 2001: Citizen Medal of the City of Hersbruck
