Anton Freiherr Dobrženský von Dobrženitz (Czech Antonín Dobřenský z Dobřenic ; born March 21, 1807 in Prague ; † August 30, 1869 ibid) was a Bohemian nobleman and Austrian general .

biography

Anton Dobrženský von Dobrženitz came from the noble Bohemian family of Dobrženský von Dobrženitz .

He served with the 1st Uhlan Regiment and the Kuk Galician Uhlan Regiment "Graf Auersperg" No. 8 . In 1849 he fought in Hungary and in 1859 in Italy. In 1851 he became colonel and regimental commander, in 1858 major general and brigade commander in Cracow . In 1859 he was awarded the Military Order of Maria Theresa for his services in the Battle of Solferino . In 1865 he was retired as a Lieutenant Field Marshal .
