Recep Niyaz (born January 1, 1995 in Denizli ) is a Turkish football player. He can be used as a midfielder and winger .
Career
society
Niyaz started playing football in his hometown Denizli at Denizlispor club . At the age of 15 his footballing talent was discovered by Fenerbahçe Istanbul, after which he moved to Istanbul.
He made his Süper Lig debut for the professional team on January 16, 2012 in the 79th minute against Manisaspor at the age of 16 , making him the youngest player in the history of Fenerbahçe Istanbul.
After he had spent the 2013/14 season on loan at the second division side Bucaspor , he was loaned to Samsunspor for the 2014/15 season.
He signed with his youth club Denizlispor for the 2015/16 season when it became known that Fenerbahçe Istanbul will not renew his contract. With eight goals in 27 missions, Niyaz was instrumental in keeping the club up.
Due to his constant performance, teams from the Süper Lig became aware of him. Niyaz spent the next two seasons at Çaykur Rizespor . In the first year he rose with the club in the second division, but in the following season succeeded as a master of the direct promotion to the first division. Overall, Niyaz completed 53 championship appearances for Çaykur Rizespor and scored eight goals.
After the successful season, Niyaz signed a contract with his former club Denizlispor in the summer of 2018 . With Denizlispor he was able to celebrate the championship of the TFF 1st Lig 2018/19 and the promotion to the Süper Lig. Niyaz was instrumental in the success with his goals and assists.
National team
In January 2012, the 16-year-old Recep Niyaz was voted the best player of the tournament after his four “Man of the Match” awards at the “Valentin Granatkin Tournament”, in which he finished third with the Turkish U-18s.
Then Recep Niyaz was taken to the Croatia Cup in February 2012 with the Turkish U-19. Turkey won the tournament and Recep Niyaz was voted player of the tournament again.
He took part in the 2013 Mediterranean Games with the Turkish U-19 national team. Here he and his team reached the tournament finals. In the final they lost to the Moroccan U-19 national team and became silver medalists.
