Oğuz Yılmaz (born January 1, 1993 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Yılmaz was born in the Şişli district of Istanbul and began playing club football in 2003 in the youth of Kartal Cevizli Gençlergücü. In 2010 he switched to the offspring of the Istanbul third division club Pendikspor . In summer 2011 he was then given a professional contract and accepted into the professional squad. During the 2011/12 season he made it to the supplementary player and in the course of the 2012/13 season to a regular player.

In the summer transfer period of 2016 he was signed by the second division Balıkesirspor . After 61 appearances and three goals, Yılmaz switched to ambitious league rivals Denizlispor in January 2019 . With Denizlispor he was able to celebrate the championship of the TFF 1st Lig 2018/19 and the promotion to the Süper Lig.
