Özgür Çek (born January 3, 1991 in Erbaa , Tokat Province ) is a Turkish football player.
Career
society
He went through the youth clubs of Harb-İş SK , Pendikspor and Fenerbahçe Istanbul . He was part of the Fenerbahçe Istanbul professional squad at the beginning of the 2009/10 season, but was sold to Ankaraspor during the summer transfer period . Çek made his professional debut on August 23, 2009 for Ankaraspor against Gaziantepspor .
On January 6, 2012, Fenerbahçe announced the re-signing of Çek. He made his debut for the professional Fenerbahçe team on January 9, 2012 in the 90th minute against Gaziantepspor . Already after half a season Çek left Fenerbahçe and moved to league rivals Eskişehirspor .
He spent the second half of the 2015/16 season at the second division Alanyaspor . With this club he ended the season as a play-off winner and rose to the Süper Lig . At the end of the season he moved on to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor . After 39 appearances and six goals for Çaykur Rizespor, Çek moved to Kasımpaşa Istanbul in 2018 .
During the 2019/20 winter break, he moved to the Aegean football club Denizlispor .
National team
From the Turkish U-16 national team onwards, Çek went through all youth national teams in his country. With the Turkish U-17 he took part in the U-17 European Football Championship in 2008 and reached the semi-finals with his team. In the semifinals they were eliminated on penalties against the U-17 of France.
With the Turkish U-21 national team he took part in the Mediterranean Games in 2009 and reached 6th place.
In September 2012 he was appointed to the squad of the second selection of the Turkish national team , the Turkish A2 national team, and made his A2 international debut on September 9, 2012 in a friendly against the Russian A2 national team.
