Tiago Jorge Oliveira Lopes or Tiago Lopes for short (born January 4, 1989 in Porto ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

Tiago Lopes went through the youth departments SC Coimbrões, Padroense FC and Candal before he started his professional career in 2008 with the Italian club SC Vallée d'Aoste . After two seasons for the Italians, Tiago Lopes returned to Portugal in 2010 and began playing for SC Espinho . He then played one season each for the clubs CD Tondela , CD Trofense and SC Covilhã .

In January 2014 he continued his career abroad with his move to the Romanian club CFR Cluj . Here he quickly established himself as a regular player. In the 2015/16 season he won the Romanian Cup with Cluj .

For the 2017/18 season Lopes was signed by the Turkish first division club Kayserispor .

After two years as a regular player, Lopes moved together with his teammate Cristian Săpunaru to the Aegean club Denizlispor .
