The Turkish Football Cup 2012/13 is the 51st edition of the men's football cup competition.

As in the previous year, the Turkish cup winner will have the right to start in the final qualifying round for the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League . If the cup winner has already qualified for the UEFA Champions League (or its qualification) via the Süper Lig , the loser of the final is qualified for the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

A total of 156 teams will take part in the cup competition.

Fenerbahçe Istanbul won the final with a 1-0 victory and was cup winners for the sixth time in the club's history.

mode

This year's mode consists of three phases (qualification, group and knockout phase ). In the qualification phase, five rounds are played in a knockout system. It is played once per pairing and the winner moves to the next main round. After the 5th main round, eight teams remain from the 156 teams. These eight teams are divided into two groups. In both groups, the teams play against each other twice. The two best from each group qualify for the semi-finals. 1st place from group A meets 2nd place from group B and vice versa. In the semi-finals there will be a return match.

The final takes place on neutral ground.
