After his good performances at OFTAŞ Kaçar moved to Trabzonspor for the 2008/09 season . At this club he established himself as a regular player during his first season. Here he formed the central defense of Trabzonspor for the next two years together with Egemen Korkmaz . In the 2009/10 season he and his team won the Turkish Cup . After Mustafa Reşit Akçay took over as coach at Trabzonspor in the summer of 2013 , Kaçar received even fewer stakes than in the previous season.
After losing his regular place at Trabzonspor, Kaçar moved to Antalyaspor half a season before his contract expired within the first division . He left this club at the end of the season after the club missed relegation.
For the 2014/15 season he moved to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor . After just one season he left Rizespor and then moved to the second division Göztepe Izmir . After he was suspended from the team here in the course of the season and had to play for the reserve team, his contract was prematurely terminated at the end of the season.
