The Türkiye Kupası 2001/02 was the 40th edition of the Turkish Cup competition . The competition began on October 9, 2001 with the first round and ended on April 3, 2002 with the final. Beşiktaş Istanbul and Kocaelispor met in the final . Beşiktaş took part in the final for the eleventh time and Kocaelispor for the second time.
Kocaelispor defeated Beşiktaş 4-0 and won this competition for the second time. The venue was the Ataturk Stadium in Bursa .
