Thomas Myhre (born October 16, 1973 in Sarpsborg ) is a former Norwegian football player .

Career

The Norwegian national goalkeeper began his career at Viking Stavanger in the Norwegian first division. In November 1997 Myhre moved to England for Everton , which he left in November 1999 for Scotland . The Norwegian held his balls for the Glasgow Rangers for a month before ending the season at Everton. At the beginning of the 2000/01 season he kept the box of Birmingham City clean, in November 2000 he also went to Tranmere Rovers for a month before returning to Everton FC. In June 2001 the Wandervogel went to Denmark for FC Copenhagen until November 2001 . Myhre finished the season in Istanbul with Beşiktaş . In 2002/03 he was the first goalkeeper for a year at Sunderland . 2003/04 Myhre held for Crystal Palace , before he was back next season for Sunderland between the posts. He played at Charlton Athletic since the beginning of the 2005/06 season . In June 2007 he returned to his home country Norway to his original club Viking Stavanger. He played there for almost three years before moving again in 2010. His current club has been Kongsvinger IL since then .

Myhre played 56 times for the Norwegian national soccer team .
