Olcan Adın (born September 30, 1985 in Balıkesir ) is a former Turkish football player .
Club career
Adın played for his home club Balıkesirspor in his youth . In the 2002/03 season, Olcan Adın was committed by Kartalspor and played from then on in the first team. After his first season at Kartalspor, the young player attracted attention. The traditional club Fenerbahçe Istanbul brought the then 17-year-old player. He became Turkish football champion for the first time in his first season with the Blue-Yellows . Adın himself was only used once in the season, in the game against MKE Ankaragücü on December 7, 2003, Adın was substituted on in the 82nd minute for Yusuf Şimşek .
The following season Olcan spent on loan at the second division Antalyaspor . There he played as a regular player and came to 26 games. His return to Fenerbahçe was not personally successful for him. In the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons, Adın played a total of five games. Nevertheless, he was a second time Turkish champion. In the summer of 2007, Adın moved to Karşıyaka SK on loan . With 32 games and eight goals, Adın played the best season at Karşıyaka so far.
There was no return to Fenerbahçe Istanbul, he switched to league rivals Gaziantepspor . Under his coach Tolunay Kafkas , Adın played his best season in the 2011/12 season. He played 33 out of 34 games and scored twelve goals. So he had a large share in the subsequent participation in the UEFA Europa League 2011/12 . At halftime 2011/12 Adın moved to Trabzonspor and scored his first goal on January 15, 2012 in the league game against Samsunspor .
On July 4, 2014, he moved to Galatasaray Istanbul . His transfer fee was four million euros. In return, Galatasaray gave Salih Dursun two seasons on loan to Trabzonspor. On August 29, 2016, Galatasaray dissolved the Adın Treaty.
During the winter break of 2016/17 he was hired by the first division club Akhisar Belediyespor . At this club, he immediately established himself as a top performer and by winning the Turkish Cup in the 2017/18 season contributed to the greatest success in the club's history to date. Despite this success, he was able to agree on a contract extension in the summer of 2018 and switched to league rivals Antalyaspor . Here, after about half a season without a league appearance, he terminated his contract prematurely in December 2018 by mutual agreement with the club's management.
On October 14, 2019, Adın announced the end of his career.
National team
Olcan Adın made his debut for Turkey on February 29, 2012 in a friendly against Slovakia . For Turkey Adın came to ten internationals and scored one goal.
