society

Dursun started club football in the youth of Garajlar Taç Spor and moved to the youth of Sakaryaspor in 2003 . Here he played for six seasons exclusively for the youth team and later for the reserve team. In 2009 he received a professional contract and was involved in the professional squad. The first season he won a regular place straight away. He made his debut on August 30, 2009 in the TFF 2.Lig game against TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . By the end of the season he had 27 games. The second season with the professionals, he lost his regular place, but still had 20 league encounters. He finished the season with his team as the relegation winner of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . For the 2011/12 season, a transfer ban was imposed on Sakaryaspor by the football association, so that you had to survive the season with the existing players. In this constellation, Dursun immediately fought for a regular place and developed over the season to the top performers of his team. With his 30 league games and 9 goals, he was one of the most conspicuous players on his team.

After his contract with Sakaryaspor expired in the summer of 2012, he moved to the first division club Kayserispor on a free transfer . Overall, Dursun came to Kayserispor to 40 first division games and scored four goals. On January 17, 2014, he moved to the Turkish record champions Galatasaray Istanbul for a transfer fee of 2.75 million euros .

For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to league rivals Trabzonspor for two seasons. His loan was part of the Olcan Adin transfer fee , which Galatasaray signed from Trabzonspor.

With the end of his loan period at Trabzonspor, he returned to Galatasaray and took part in the pre-season preparatory camp with this club. During the first half of the 2016/17 season, Dursun played for Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup. For the second half of the season he was awarded to Antalyaspor . Antalyaspor has a purchase option of 250,000 Turkish Lira until June 15, 2017 .

National team

As part of the Toulon 2012 tournament , Dursun was appointed to the second selection of the Turkish national team in May 2012 . The Turkish A2 nominated here for players younger than 23 years to meet the age requirements for the tournament. The team made it to the finals and was subject to Mexico's selection.

Style of play

Dursun is characterized by his body-hugging style of play and bitter duels. With 15 yellow cards and one red card received by the 32nd matchday of the 2012/13 season, he was the player who had seen the most cards. At this club he quickly established himself as a regular player and contributed to the fact that the club finished the 2016/17 season in fifth place and thus achieved the best first division placement in the club's history. After this debut at Antalyaspor, the club pulled the purchase option at the end of the season.
