Aatif Chahechouhe (born July 2, 1986 in Fontenay-aux-Roses , France ) is a French- Moroccan football player .

Career

In the club

Career start in France

Chahechouhe was born in 1986 in the Paris suburb of Fontenay-aux-Roses as the son of Moroccan immigrants. He learned to play football here as a street footballer and was then discovered by the scouts of RC Paris . In 2005 Chahechouhe was included in the professional squad at this club and completed five league matches in his first season. In the following years he played in various French clubs. In April 2010, Chahechouhe made his debut in France's top division, Ligue 1, for the Lorraine team from AS Nancy .

In January 2012 Chahechouhe moved for the first time abroad to Bulgaria to the first division club FC Chernomorez Burgas . Here he made it into the starting eleven over the course of the season. He finished the season with ten league goals in 15 games.

Turkey

For the 2012/13 season Chahechouhe moved from Chernomorets Burgas to the Turkish Süper Lig club Sivasspor .

In the 2013/14 season he went down in the annals of the club history of Sivasspor under the team boss Roberto Carlos . He succeeded with 17 league goals to be the first top scorer of the club in the top division, Süper Lig, Turkey . In addition, with his 17 goals and six assists, he had a share of over a third of the highest scoring season (60 goals) in the club's history in the Süper Lig; the club had been the second best-scoring team in the league, after the league champions.

After relegation with Sivasspor in 2016, he moved to the traditional Turkish club Fenerbahçe Istanbul in the summer of 2016 . After two and a half years for the Istanbul team, he moved to league rivals Çaykur Rizespor with a half-year contract . In summer 2019 he moved on to Antalyaspor .

In the national team

In May 2014, at the age of 27, he made his playing debut as a national player for Morocco in a 4-0 win in the friendly against Mozambique , where he immediately scored his first goal.
