Aykut Yiğit (born October 7, 1959 in Adapazarı , † September 7, 2002 in Yozgat ) was a Turkish football player .

Player career

Aykut Yiğit came from the Sakaryaspor youth team . In the jersey of Sakaryaspor Aykut was top scorer with 20 goals in the 1984/85 season. Because of his namesake Aykut Kocaman , Aykut Yiğit Büyük was called Aykut (Great Aykut) . In his career he played for: Eskişehirspor , Sakaryaspor, Fenerbahçe Istanbul , Altay İzmir , Ayvalıkgücü and Balıkesirspor .

Aykut Yiğit had an accident near Yozgat after a car accident and died on site.
