Tarik Hodžić

Tarık Hodžić (born December 1, 1951 in Sarajevo ) is a former Yugoslav football player .

He started in the youth team of FK Željezničar Sarajevo . In 1970 he signed his first professional contract there. However, Tarik was awarded to Famos Hrasnica . He played there for three years. After he was the top scorer in the 2nd league of Yugoslavia with 28 goals in 1973 , he returned to FK Željezničar. Tarık played there for two more years.

From then on he played for Olimpija Ljubljana . Then the striker moved to Belgium to RFC Liège and was the top scorer there. Tarik Hodžić moved on, this time to Galatasaray Istanbul . In the Turkish Süper Lig he was the top scorer with 16 goals in the 1983/84 season. After four years at Galatasaray, Hodžić moved to Sarıyer SK in 1984 and ended his career there in 1986.

Now he lives in Sarajevo and is the owner of a restaurant (Sur Galatasaray). 1997 coached Hodžić FK Željezničar for some games.
