Ricardo Jorge Vaz Tê (born October 1, 1986 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player .

Player career

Vaz Tê came to England for the first time in 2003, where he received a 3-year contract for Bolton's youth academy through his services at a youth casting for the Bolton Wanderers. He made his professional debut in the FA Cup game against Tranmere Rovers in January 2004. Two months later he came in the league for the first time against Middlesbrough FC .

For the 2010/11 season, Vaz Tê moved from the Bolton Wanderers to the Greek Super League at Panionios Athens . After the termination of his contract during the season, he moved to the Scottish first division club Hibernian Edinburgh on February 28, 2011 . In the Scottish Premier League 2010/11 he scored a goal in ten league games, but received no new contract in Edinburgh at the end of the season.

On August 3, 2011, he signed a contract with English second division club Barnsley . Vaz Tê got along well in the Football League Championship , scoring ten goals in twenty-two league games before joining league rivals West Ham United on January 31, 2012 .

During the 2014/15 winter break, Vaz Tê moved to Akhisar Belediyespor's Turkish Süper Lig . At the end of the season he left this club again.

After playing the first half of the 2015/16 season for Charlton Athletic , he moved back to Akhisar Belediyespor in February 2016.

From summer 2017 he continued his career with the Chinese club Henan Jianye .
