Márcio Mixirica full name Márcio Mandinga dos Santos (born January 23, 1975 in Mogi das Cruzes ) is a former Brazilian football player .

Career

Márcio Mixirica started his career with CA Bragantino in 1994 . He played there for four years and then moved to Paulista FC . In 1999 followed within seven months, four club changes to São José EC , EC Juventude , Portuguesa and Galatasaray Istanbul .

In his first season for Galatasaray, Márcio Mixirica was mostly a substitute behind Hakan Şükür and Arif Erdem . The Brazilian scored nine goals in 23 league games. In the Turkish Cup he was top scorer with eight other players. With Galatasaray he won the Turkish Championship and the Turkish Cup and the UEFA Cup at the end of the 1999/2000 season . Three months after winning the UEFA Cup, he won the UEFA Super Cup . The striker left Galatasaray for the 2001/02 season and joined Boavista Porto .

After the time in Porto, brief engagements followed in his home country of Brazil. The striker ended his career in 2010.
