Timuçin Bayazıt (born October 26, 1972 in Adana ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach.
Career
As a player
Bayazıt began playing football at Adana Demirspor and also spent his first years in the professional field here. In 1996 he moved to Sakaryaspor and stayed there for three years. In his final season at Sakaryaspor he was loaned to Siirtspor , where he only stayed for one season. The following year he moved to Denizlispor , where he played for five years (with the exception of the 2002/03 season, when he was with Malatyaspor ). With over 120 league games, he played his most championship games here and with his assists he was an indispensable part of the team with which he was able to take fifth and sixth place twice in the Süper Lig. In 2005 Bayazıt moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor . His last stop was Kartalspor in 2007 ; here he also ended his active football career.
As a trainer
Just a year after retiring, Bayazıt started working as a coach. From 2009 to 2011 he worked as a junior coach at Boluspor and then moved to the junior division of Karşıyaka SK . During the winter break of the 2011/12 season he was introduced as assistant coach of the first team. After the season, the contract was dissolved, so that Bayazıt moved to Adana Demirspor .
In October 2015 he took over Kayseri Erciyesspor as head coach, working in this position for the first time in his coaching career. Since he did not have the necessary coaching license, he was officially listed as an assistant coach, while his assistant coach İbrahim Uzunca was given as the official head coach of the national football association. In March 2016 he left the club.
