Fikri Elma (born January 1, 1934 in Ankara , † November 15, 1999 there ) was a Turkish football player .

Player career

Elma only played for Ankara Demirspor throughout his career . In 12 years of his career, the striker scored 136 goals in 303 league appearances and is 11th among the most successful goalscorers in the Süper Lig . He was also the top scorer in the 1st Turkish league with 21 goals in the 1961/62 season. Although it was the fourth season of the Turkish league, Fikri Elma was only the second top scorer ever. Metin Oktay was the top scorer for the first three years . This played in the 1961/62 season in Italy for US Palermo .

In the following season Elma scored 24 goals more than before, but Metin Oktay played again for Galatasaray Istanbul and made 38 goals in the same season. Despite his continuous goals, he was never used for Turkey .

After his playing career, things got quiet about the striker. Before his death he was on the board of Gençlerbirliği Ankara . Fikri Elma died on November 15, 1999.
