Ruud Jorge Boffin (born November 5, 1987 in Sint-Truiden ) is a Belgian football goalkeeper who plays for Antalyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig .

Player career

The young Belgian goalkeeper Ruud Boffin comes from the youth of the Dutch top club PSV Eindhoven . There he was not used for the first team, as he was only the third goalkeeper in his first professional season 2006/07 behind the experienced goalkeepers Heurelho da Silva Gomes and Oscar Moens . In order to collect match practice, he was loaned to local rivals FC Eindhoven from the second division for the 2007/08 season. From the 2008/09 season he played for MVV Maastricht , from where he was loaned to VVV-Venlo from January to July 2010 . In August 2010, he moved to West Ham United . There he was intended as a substitute for regular goalkeeper Robert Green and came in two years only to a single Premier League assignment.

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Eskişehirspor . After this club missed the relegation of the Süper Lig in summer 2016 , Boffin went with the club in the TFF 1st Lig . In the summer of 2017 he moved to the first division team Antalyaspor after the hoped-for direct resurgence with Eskişehirspor had failed.

Boffin is married and has one son.
