Anton Johann Hinüber (also: Anthon Johann Hinuber ; born April 21, 1655 in Hanover ; April 21, 1719 ibid) was Kurhannoverscher Oberpostmeister and owner of the Hanover post office.

Life

Anton Johann Hinüber was born a few years after the Thirty Years' War in 1655 in the royal seat of what was then the principality of Calenberg-Göttingen as a member of the von Hinüber family who were later elevated to the nobility . He was the son of the royal postmaster Hans Hinüber and his wife Justine Meyer (1630–1687), who was married in 1634.

The Kurhannoversche Oberpostmeister and owner of the Hanover post office is part of the world heritage of UNESCO because of his multiple mentions in the correspondence of the universal scholar Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz , who also wrote personally to Hinüber at the end of 1697 .

Over was married to Elisabeth Margarethe Schröder († 1689) or to Ilse Margarethe Schröder, who was married on May 2, 1682 in Hanover (born March 17, 1659 in Hanover; † May 26, 1689 ibid). The couple was born on November 27, 1687 in Hanover, the elder daughter Anna Ilse Hinüber († August 13, 1743 in Horst ), who on January 9, 1703 the electoral Hanoverian war commissarius and superior number commissarius and widower Christian Hieronymus Meyer (Mejer; 1666-1722) got married. The younger daughter Anna Dorothea Hinüber (1697–1771) married the Secret Chancellery Secretary and Councilor Arnold Ludwig Reinbold (1679–1735) in 1714 .
