Ludolf Arnold Heinrich Reinbold (also: Ludwig Arnold Heinrich Reinbold or Arnold Ludwig Reinbold ; * 1679 in Osnabrück or 1680 in Hanover ; † August 27, 1735 in Burgwedel ) was a German court counselor , legal bailiff , private secretary and secretary of the chancellery as well as landowner in Großburgwedel .

Life

Ludolf Arnold Heinrich Reinbold, born in the last quarter of the 17th century in the Duchy of Braunschweig-Lüneburg , was the son of the chief war paymaster Johann Heinrich Reinbold and Margarete von Hörsten, who came from Osnabrück.

He studied at the University of Leiden in 1697 . In the former Duchy, which had meanwhile been elevated to the Electorate of Hanover , he became the private secretary of Electress Sophie .

On November 26, 1709 married Reinbold in Großburgwedel first wife, Beate Henrietta Eltze (born June 16, 1681 Großburgwedel, † March 28, 1713 in Hannover), daughter of Grand Burgwedeler lieutenant colonel, Office Vogts and country captain Ludolf Henning von Eltz and Dorothea Leveke Reiche from Hanover.

After the death of his first wife, Reinbold married Anna Dorothea Hinüber (born June 6, 1697 in Hanover; † August 24, 1771 in Wildeshausen ), daughter of the postmaster Anton Johann, in the castle church in the Leineschloss in Hanover on April 25, 1714 Over and the Anna Dorothea Meyer from Lüneburg . Around the same year Reinbold became the private secretary of Prince Elector Georg August von Hanover and, due to the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover, was soon also titled as Royal British and Electoral Hanoverian Councilor.

In 1718, after Reinbold's father-in-law had died without male heirs, Reinbold inherited the von Eltzsche estate in Großburgwedel and also took over the role of governor of Burgwedel.

On May 9, 1726, Reinbold's son and heir of the Großburgwedel estate, Carl Ludwig Reinbold († November 11, 1787 in Canton in China ) was born in Großburgwedel , who later became the commander in East India .

In 1729 Reinbold took over the duties of the secret secretary of his government.
