Anton Levkovitš (born April 25, 1983 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vipers Tallinn in the Estonian ice hockey league since 2017 .

Career

Anton Levkovitš began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown at Tallinna JSK . He joined the Tallinn Stars in 2003 through HK Vipers Tallinn , with whom he became Estonian champions in 2005 . He then moved to HC Panter Tallinn , but returned to the stars in 2006 and again won the national championship with them in 2007. In the following season he moved to the newly formed professional club Tartu Big Diamonds , with whom he competed in the Latvian league and won the Estonian Supercup at the end of the season by beating the Estonian champions and local rivals Tartu Kalev-Välk . Since the Big Diamonds were dissolved in the summer of 2008 for financial reasons, he switched back to the Tallinn Stars and won his third Estonian title with them in 2009. But the stars also had to file for bankruptcy and so he was on the ice for Tallinn Viiking Sport from 2010 . With this team he won the Estonian championship in 2013 and 2014. After he again for the HC Panter Tallinn and 2016/17 for the 2015/16 HC Tallinn had played, he stands since 2017 for the second time in HK Vipers Tallinn under contract.

International

For Estonia Levkovitš took part in the junior division of the European Division I of the U18 World Cup 2000 and Division II of the U18 World Cup 2001 as well as Division III of the U20 World Cup 2002 and Division II of the U20 World Cup 2003 .

In the senior division, he played for Estonia at the World Championships in Division I in 2005 , 2008 , 2011 and 2016 and in Division II in 2014 . He also represented the team from the Baltic States in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
