Anton Ludwig von Wagner

Anton Ludwig Wager , from 1798 by Wagner , (* 1725 in Bleckendorf ; † February 20, 1805 in Ebertswalde ) was a German lawyer and chamber president in Königsberg and Gumbinnen .

Life

Wagner was on his father's estate Bleck village bourgeois born and raised, then graduated from April 1743 at the University of Helmstedt and since May 18, 1746 at the University of Halle to study law . In 1752 he joined the Prussian Army and served in the Seven Years' War as Auditeur in Infantry Regiment v. Ramin . After the peace agreement , he was appointed War and Domain Council in Stettin in May 1763 . On January 18, 1770 Wagner advanced to the second and in May of the same year to the first chamber director in Königsberg. From the middle of 1772 he was a temporary member of the West Prussian Classification Commission . In September 1786 Wagner received the character of a secret council of war . As the successor to Karl Wilhelm von Schrötter , he was appointed President of the Chamber in April 1796. On June 5, 1798 Wagner was together with his nephew Friedrich Heinrich Wilhelm Wagner in the Prussian nobility lifted . After 50 years of service, he was retired with a pension of 1200 thalers and ended his life on the East Prussian estate Ebertswalde.
