Friedrich Heinrich Wilhelm von Wagner

Friedrich Heinrich Wilhelm von Wagner (born August 17, 1748 in Ellrich , † June 18, 1819 in Königsberg ) was a German lawyer and chamber president in Białystok .

Life

Wagner, son of the court and chamber tax office in Ellrich Wilhelm Friedrich Wagner († after 1774), attended the Ellrich city school and from 1762 to 1765 the Donndorf monastery school after receiving initial instruction from his father in his parents' house . After further private lessons in Ellrich he visited since 1768 the University of Halle to the law to study. Here he visited u. a. the lectures of Professors Carrach and Nettelbladt , before he returned to Ellrich in 1770.

In 1772 he accepted a position as a trainee lawyer at the Königsberg War and Domain Chamber . After successfully passing the major exam on June 25, 1774, he was promoted to War and Domain Council in Königsberg on June 30, 1774. From July 25, 1792 he was second and from July 1796 first chamber director in Gumbinnen . On June 5, 1798 Wagner was with his uncle Anton Ludwig von Wagner in the Prussian nobility lifted . in June / July 1802 he was appointed President of the War and Domain Chamber Białystok. After the Peace of Tilsit and the associated territorial changes, he returned to Königsberg in 1812, where he died as a pensioner.

He married Margarethe Schleemüller. From the marriage Amalie Friederike Wilhelmine von Wagner († 1816) emerged, who in 1801 married Joachim Moritz von Schöning († after 1830), heir to Lübenow .
