Anton Reseneder

Anton Reseneder (born April 10, 1919 in Landau an der Isar ; † April 16, 2003 in Dingolfing ) was an industrial clerk, works council chairman at Glas / BMW and a politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

Anton Reseneder was born the illegitimate son of the maid Viktoria Reseneder in Landau an der Isar . After attending elementary school, he learned the profession of industrial clerk. From November 1938 to March 1939 he completed his compulsory military service with the Reich Labor Service . After finishing his career on April 1, 1939, he started working as an industrial clerk at Hans Glas GmbH (later Goggomobil ) for agricultural and sowing machines in Dingolfing . In August 1939 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht , where he served on the Northern Front in Lapland until July 1945 . After the end of the war he started working again at Hans Glas, which was now developing scooters. After brief duties on the works council, he was elected chairman of the works council in April 1949. In May 1949 he married the secretary Paula Huber, with whom he was married for a total of 54 years. From this marriage the only daughter Brigitte emerged, who saw the light of day on May 17, 1950. From October 1956 to November 1966 he was exempted as chairman of the works council and for the last 8 years he was also a member of the supervisory board of Hans Glas GmbH. In November 1966, Hans Glas GmbH was taken over by BMW , in which he played a key role as a member of the Bavarian State Parliament (1962–1966). The glass automobile works became part of the Bayerische Motoren Werke. By May 1975 he was on the Works Council of BMW AG and Deputy Chairman of the General BMW AG. In June 1972 he took on the role of member of the BMW AG economic committee. When he voluntarily resigned from the works council in May 1975, he was advisor for special editions at BMW AG until his retirement in April 1982.

Anton Reseneder joined the CSU in 1948 and worked from 1952 to 1984 as a city councilor (finance committee, works committee and party committee) of the city of Dingolfing and from 1952 to 1984 as a district council member (district committee, personnel and institutional committee) of the Dingolfing district .

Anton Reseneder was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from December 7, 1962 to December 1, 1966 . Its parliamentary function was the committee for social policy tasks. In parliament he represented the constituency of Lower Bavaria .
