Giulio Ricciarelli

Giulio Ricciarelli (born August 2, 1965 in Milan ) is an Italian actor , director and film producer living in Germany .

Career

After training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich (1985–1987), Ricciarelli began his career on stage. In 1989/1990 he was engaged at Theater Basel ; In 1991 he played at the Staatstheater Stuttgart and the Theater Oberhausen, among others ; In 1992 a two-year engagement at the Schauspiel Bonn followed. At the Bavarian State Theater in Munich he played the role of Alba in Don Karlos in 1994/1995 and, under the direction of Jérôme Savary, the main role of Jean in Zazou . During this time he also had his first leading role in a television film, Tonino in Tonino and Toinette by Xaver Schwarzenberger . Ricciarelli lives in Berlin and Munich. He was married to actress Lisa Martinek († 2019) since 2009 .
