Anton Tasch

Anton Josef Tasch (born July 4, 1845 in Striesewitz , † February 19, 1920 in Lissa ) was a Catholic clergyman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Tasch attended the Royal High School in Lissa until 1865 and then studied theology and natural sciences until 1868 in the theological seminar in Posen and then at the academy in Münster . There he did his doctorate in theology and was most recently in the practical seminar in Gniezno . In 1871/72 he was vicar in Deutsch Krone and from 1872 praetender at the Franciscan Church for German Catholics and religion teacher at the Royal High School in Gnesen. In addition, from 1878 he was there administrator of the St. Trinity and St. Laurentius Church and from 1887 provost at the St. Nicholas parish church in Lissa and religion teacher at the royal high school there. During the three years 1875 to 1877 he was editor of the Germania newspaper in Berlin .

From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Posen 6 ( Fraustadt , Lissa ) and the German Center Party .
