Anton Tausche (born July 27, 1838 in Teplitz , † November 20, 1898 in Teplitz-Schönau ) was a Bohemian teacher and politician.

Life

After finishing school in Teplitz, Tausche res rusticas (today: Agricultural Science ) studied at the German Polytechnic in Prague. There he became a member of the Corps Austria in 1862 . He then moved to the Hungarian Altenburg Agricultural College , where he graduated as an agricultural teacher in 1864. After that he was assistant inspector on the property of the Barons Zessner-Spitzenberg in Dobrichan near Saaz until 1868 and then until 1876 economic inspector of the Weselicko estate near Tábor . During this time his first political activity took place as a representative in the district parliaments of Mühlhausen in southern Bohemia (today: Milevsko ) and Bochin.

In 1876/1877 he worked as an agricultural hiking teacher. He was particularly interested in helping farmers improve potato cultivation after a bad harvest in 1876 . This activity was so successful that in 1877 the Ministry of Agriculture appointed him to the country's hiking teacher for all German districts in the Kingdom of Bohemia . After Tausche was elected to the Reichsrat as a member of the Reichsrat as a member of the Eger , Wildstein and Asch districts in 1879 , he had to give up his position as a traveling teacher under pressure from the ministry, because this activity was deemed incompatible with the position of a member of the Reichsrat.

Tausche was a member of the Reichsrat until 1897 and at the same time from 1883 until his death also a member of the Bohemian Landtag for Kaaden-Preßnitz-Duppau.
