Anton von Koenitz

Anton Franz Friedrich Johann Egidius Karl Ludwig Joseph von Koenitz (born February 2, 1779 in Wickersdorf , Thuringia ; † November 8, 1837 there ) was a German captain and politician .

Life

Anton von Könitz was the son of Helfgott Friedrich Heinrich Christian von Könitz (* 1750) and Maria Cäcilie Anna Josepha von Damnitz . His younger brother was Franz Ludwig von Koenitz .

He was heir, feudal lord and court lord of Wickersdorf, Arnsgereuth , Volkmannsdorf and Untersiemau .

He was a founding member of the Coburg Landtag for the Principality of Saalfeld . From 1821 to March 1824 he was a member of the Coburg state parliament.

In 1834 von Könitz was promoted to chamberlain .

He was married to Christiane Friederike Amalie von der Tann (1778–1844) and had five children:

  • Friedrich Adolf Hermann (1803–1866): ducal Saxon-Coburg-Gotha Chamberlain
  • Ferdinand Wilhelm Friedrich Johann (1844–1858): father of Lothar Alfred Arthur von Könitz (* 1873), lieutenant in the 10th Jäger Battalion
  • Ernst August Emil Leopold (1809–1871): landowner in Sondshof and in the Königshofen regional court in Bavaria
  • Magnus Franz Friedrich Carl Wilhelm Justus Leopold Dettlev (* 1811)
  • Thekla Dorette Caroline Auguste Elise (1818-1887)
