Anton von Oertzen

Ernst Carl Anton von Oertzen (born November 7, 1836 in Roggow ; † February 28, 1911 in Rostock ) was chief forestry officer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Oertzen attended schools in Zerbst , Rostock, Ratzeburg , Wismar , Quedlinburg , Eutin , Parchim , the Eberswalde and Tharandt academies . He became forester in Lübz and acquired the Neu-Garz estate in 1861 . On July 5, 1878, he married Bertha Luise Elisabeth von Lowtzow in Güstrow (born February 17, 1854 in Rostock , † August 31, 1918 in Rostock), with whom he had a daughter.

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 3 ( Parchim , Ludwigslust ) and the German Conservative Party .
