Antoni Jan Łaciak (born June 23, 1939 in Szczyrk , † February 6, 1989 in Katowice ) was a Polish ski jumper .

Career

Łaciak played his first international tournament with the Four Hills Tournament in 1961/62 . In doing so, however, he received no results worth mentioning. A year later, Łaciak took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane in 1962 and won the silver medal from the normal hill behind Toralf Engan . In the end, he finished sixth on the large hill. In the Four Hills Tournament 1962/63 he achieved consistently good results and in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the 8th place also the best result in a jumping at the tour. In the end, he finished 7th in the tour's overall ranking. In the following years he could not repeat this success on the tour. Łaciak was the Polish normal hill champion in 1963 . At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 he reached 34th place from the large hill after jumps on 95.1, 99.2 and 91.7 meters.
