The Malinka (officially Adam-Małysz-Schanze, Polish : Skocznia Narciarska im. Adama Małysza since 2008 ) is a ski jumping hill in Poland. It is located in Malinka , a district of the city of Wisła . The large hill of category K 120 is covered with plastic mattings.
history
Spectator stadium under construction
The first 40 meter wooden ski jump was built in 1933. In 1954 the ski jump was modernized for the first time. After the renovation, Silesian championships and international jumping took place. In 1970 the hill was enlarged to a K 105 and equipped with a steel inrun tower. After the jump was enlarged, international competitions with well-known jumpers were held again.
After many competitions the ski jumping hill was run down and had to be renewed. So it was decided in autumn 2003 that the jump had to be rebuilt. A year later, the renovation of the new K 120 ski jump started. New functional buildings and a spectator stadium with a capacity of 2500 spectators were built. New spectator seats are also to be built on the landing slope. In 2006, however, construction work was delayed due to a landslide . The new ski jump was inaugurated during the Polish championships from September 26th to 28th, 2008 under the new name Adam-Małysz-ski jump . Continental cup competitions have been taking place on the hill since 2009 . Since the 2012/2013 season, ski jumping World Cup competitions have also been held in Wisła . The first World Cup competition on the Malinka was held on January 9, 2013.

Hill record
The current hill record is held by the Austrian Stefan Kraft with 139 m, which was set up on January 8, 2013.
At the World Cup competition on January 16, 2014, Slovene Peter Prevc landed at 140.5 meters, but could not land 1.5 meters above the current hill record and reached into the snow with his hands. So the distance is not counted as a hill record.
