On the Trambulina Valea Cărbunării , he also competed in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2013 in February, finishing in 10th place after 23rd place in individual jumping with the team. In July 2013, Kantyka competed for the first time in two competitions in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Kranj . In the first competition he just missed the points as 32nd. Three weeks later he was again on the podium in third place in the FIS Cup in Szczyrk . He then traveled to the Continental Cup in Kuopio . With places 23 and 20, he collected his first evaluation points. This was followed by two top 10 placements in the FIS Cup in Zakopane , where he reached another podium in third.

From September 2013 Kantyka was part of the Continental Cup squad. Until February 2014 he could only jump into the points once, but achieved his best result in this series with 16th place in Klingenthal . In February he switched back to the FIS Cup, but even then only slowly found his way back to his old achievements. In December 2014 he achieved his highest international single placement to date with second place in Notodden . Also in January he was third again on the podium in Kranj. At the end of the season he was third in the FIS Cup overall standings. At the following Junior World Championships in 2015 in Almaty , he finished tenth in the individual and, in fourth, narrowly missed his first medal with the team. In July he reached the top 10 in the Continental Cup in Kranj for the first time. A little later, he qualified for the Ski Jumping Grand Prix in Wisła, but missed the competition in 50th place. A week later he celebrated his first Continental Cup podium with second place in the same place. In September he jumped as part of the Grand Prix in Tchaikovsky where he finished 31st and 38th without points.

From January 2016 Kantyka was again a permanent member of the Continental Cup squad and jumped into the points by the end of the 2015/16 season . At the Junior World Championships in 2016 in Râşnov he was 12th in the individual and seventh with the team in the first team competition. In the mixed team, he finished eleventh with his teammates. At the end of the season he qualified for the Ski Jumping World Cup for the first time in Wisła, but narrowly missed his debut in the highest series.

For the 2016/17 season, Kantyka got another place in the B-team. At the 2017 Winter Universiade in Sapporo , Japan , he and his compatriots Stanisław Biela and Krzysztof Miętus won the bronze medal in the team competition behind Russia and Slovenia.

Kantyka ended his career in March after the 2018/19 ski jumping season.
