Philipp Raimund (born June 23, 2000 in Göppingen ) is a German ski jumper who competes for SC Oberstdorf .

Career

Philipp Raimund began his international career in two competitions of the Alpencup on January 15 and 16, 2016 in Hinterzarten, where he finished 53rd and 61st. He then started several times in the Alpine Cup and the FIS Cup .

After strong performances in the Alpine Cup, he made his debut in the Continental Cup in Szczyrk on August 18, 2017 . He finished 61st in the competition .

He achieved his best result in the Alpine Cup with second place on January 14, 2018 in Hinterzarten .

On January 26, 2018, he was nominated for the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Kandersteg . There he won team gold with his teammates Justin Lisso , Cedrik Weigel and Constantin Schmid and was ninth in the individual competition. On March 4, 2018, he scored his first Continental Cup points as 21st on the Renabakkene in Rena, Norway . He achieved his best Continental Cup result so far on August 18, 2018, when he reached the top 10 for the first time in fifth on the Skalite hill in Szczyrk, Poland . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Lahti , Finland , he was able to defend the team title, now with Luca Roth , Kilian Märkl and again Constantin Schmid. In the individual competition he took 14th place.
