Andrzej Stękała starts for the AZS Zakopane . He began his international career on July 27th and 28th, 2013 with two competitions in the FIS Cup in Szczyrk , Poland , in which he finished 44th and 30th. Further competitions followed in the course of the season, in July 2014 he was able to record his first success with fourth place in Villach . In August of the same year Stękała started in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm for the first time in the Continental Cup , but here he was disqualified in the first competition, a day later he came in 16th place. A month later he reached the first place on the podium in the FIS Cup with third place in Einsiedeln . The second competition the next day Stękała won, as well as another competition in the FIS Cup two weeks later in Szczyrk. At the Junior Ski World Championships in Almaty in 2015 , he finished 18th in the individual, and in the Polish team he was fourth with the team. In February 2015, Stękała won another FIS Cup jumping competition in Hinterzarten .
Stękała managed a first surprise when he finished second on March 15, 2015 without a previous top 10 placement in the Continental Cup in Nizhny Tagil and thus made it onto the podium in the Continental Cup for the first time in his career. His strongest season in the Continental Cup to date was the 2015/16 season . In this Stękała achieved his first Continental Cup victory on December 11, 2015 in Rena . While he was disqualified in the second competition the next day, Stękała again finished on the podium in the third competition with a second place. In December 2015, Stękała was nominated for the Polish team for the Four Hills Tournament 2015/16 by head coach Łukasz Kruczek because of his performance in the Continental Cup . However, while he was eliminated in Innsbruck , he won his duel in Bischofshofen and finished in 30th place in the end.
