Antonie Boubong
Antonie Boubong (born June 8, 1842 in Werneck , † 1908 in Strasbourg ) was a German portrait, genre and landscape painter .
Live and act
Antonie Boubong studied with Fidelis Bentele at the Stuttgart Art School and with Wilhelm von Lindenschmit the Younger in Munich. She had exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Vienna and Düsseldorf. She became known nationally when Kaiser Wilhelm I and Empress Augusta held one of the annual exhibitions of the Association of Berlin Artists 1867 e. V. at the Academy of Arts and bought one of her paintings there.
