Representations

Antoninus is shown as a bearded Benedictine abbot with a book and inful ; the miter is always on the ground next to him. In the representations he wears the costume of the Hieronymites in a white habit with a scapular and mozzetta in black. In many cases he stands on the figure of the conquered devil. There are also various depictions from the cycle of miracles: Since the Sorrentines could not pay the precious silver statue to the goldsmith, he pays the bill when the purchase price appears.
