Antonio Caccia the Younger
Antonio Caccia the Younger (born November 11, 1829 in Trieste , † February 18, 1893 in Lugano ) was a Swiss Italian-language writer .
Life
He is the author of a poem in Stanzen about Napoleon's exploits in Italy (1856). The Sonetti finanziari (1866) came from him . Masterpieces are his plays, in the style of Vittorio Alfieri . Outstanding is Cesare Borgia from 1862. He left the city of Lugano his palace La Malpensata with the works of art in it, as well as those of his palace in Trieste. So he became the founder of the Caccia Art Museum in Lugano.
He was the nephew of Antonio Caccia the Elder .
