Antonio Giuseppe Bossi (* 1699 in Porto Ceresio ; † February 10, 1764 in Würzburg ) was an important Italian plasterer. From 1735 he was court plasterer for the prince-bishops of Würzburg . He was active in the fields of sculpture and wall decoration throughout his life. In Würzburg he was in charge of stuccoing the Würzburg Residence and the former Premonstratensian Abbey in Oberzell . His works in the White Hall and the Imperial Hall of the Residenz are famous. So far he has been seen as a co-founder of the “Würzburg Rococo” around 1740, a stylistic term that is related to, together with the cabinetmaker and ornamental carver Ferdinand Hundt (1703–1758) and the painter and sculptor Johann Wolfgang van der Auwera (1708–1756) on Bossi has meanwhile been questioned.
