Antonio Monda

Antonio Monda (born October 19, 1962 in Velletri ) is an Italian journalist , screenwriter and film director .

Monda graduated in law and from 1980 worked in various roles in film; he was an assistant editor, scene photographer (for example for The Night of San Lorenzo ) and assistant director. He shot with Luciano Odorisio , Pupi Avati and Paolo Taviani . From 1986 he also delivered documentaries such as Oltre New York , Stranieri a New York and La storia del COL for television. In 1990 he made his feature film debut, Dicembre - it was his only one to date. Monda also works as a journalist for newspapers such as Il Mattino and La Repubblica ; His interviews are particularly well known. In 1994 Monda moved to New York City , where he teaches at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University . Monda participates in several festivals in the United States and publishes books regularly.
