Antonius Paris
Anthony Paris (* 1614 / 1615 ; † 31 July 1669 in Schwerte ) was a Lorraine bell founder who has but worked mostly in Westphalia and Hesse.
Life
Antonius Paris was born in Lorraine and worked in Westphalia from 1639, often together with other colleagues. In contrast to Wolter Westerhues and other late medieval foundries, these so-called "Lorraine traveling founders" often had no permanent casting location for a long time. Antonius Paris settled in Schwerte in 1660 , where he died in 1669.
