Apatinska Pivara Brewery

The Apatiner Brewery (Serbian Apatinska pivara ) is one of 13 Serbian breweries , eight of which are located in Vojvodina .

The brewery's products are exported worldwide. Outside Serbia, the beer is sold in Bosnia-Herzegovina , Croatia , Macedonia , Montenegro , Austria , Sweden , Slovenia and Switzerland .

history

The brewery was founded in 1756 in Apatin, which at that time belonged to the Habsburg monarchy . According to Viennese records, the annual production in the founding year was 12,000 hectoliters, which corresponds to today's daily production. The annual capacity of the Apatiner brewery is around 4.5 million hectoliters.

In 2003, 99% of the brewery was owned by the InBev Group. In June 2012 the brewery became part of the Molson Coors Brewing Company .

Products

The main product, Jelen Pivo ( deer beer ), is a light beer and the Serbian market leader with a 35% market share. The beers Jelen Cool , Jelen FRESH limun , Jelen FRESH grejpfrut and Jelen Belo are also brewed. In addition, non-alcoholic beverages such as iced tea and juices are produced.

Sponsorship

Jelen Pivo is the main sponsor of the Serbian Football Super League and has been the main sponsor of the Guča Trumpet Festival since 2008 .
