The Apostolic Prefecture Shaowu ( lat. : Apostolica praefectura Shaovuensis ) is in the People's Republic of China Located Roman Catholic Apostolic Prefecture based in Shaowu .

history

Shaowu Apostolic Prefecture was founded on July 18, 1929 by Pope Pius XI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Concreditum Nobis from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Foochow as Mission sui juris Shaowu . The mission sui juris Shaowu was on May 21, 1938 by Pius XI. raised to the Apostolic Prefecture.
