The Apostolic Vicariate of Quetta ( lat. : Apostolicus Vicariatus Quettensis ) is in Pakistan situated Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with headquarters in Quetta in western Pakistan.

history

The Apostolic Prefecture of Quetta was founded on November 9, 2001 by Pope John Paul II from the cession of territory of the Hyderabad Diocese in Pakistan and the Karachi Archdiocese . On April 29, 2010, the Apostolic Prefecture of Quetta was founded by Pope Benedict XVI. raised to the apostolic vicariate.

The Apostolic Vicar is Bishop Victor Gnanapragasam of the religious community of Oblate Missionaries .

The territory of the Apostolic Vicariate includes the province of Balochistan .
