Arantxa Chávez Muñoz (born January 30, 1991 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican water diver . She starts in artificial jumping from the 1-m and 3-m board and in 3-m synchronized jumping.

Chávez starts for the Jalisco club in Guadalajara , where she is trained by Iván Bautista. She played her first international competitions at the Junior World Championships in 2006 in Kuala Lumpur and in 2008 in Aachen and was able to reach three finals from the 1-meter and 3-meter board. In the adult area, she first took part in the 2009 World Cup in Rome , where she was eliminated from the 1-meter board after the preliminary fight. 2011 was a successful year. Chavez won her first national title from the 1-meter board. She competed with Laura Sánchez in the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai in the 3-meter synchronized jumping, the duo finished ninth in the final. At the Universiade in Shenzhen , she also won silver in the team. Chavez prevailed in the national Olympic qualification in 2012 and qualified for the Olympic Games in London . There she finished 29th out of 30 participants.
