Chemnitz Labor Court

The Labor Court of Chemnitz , a court of labor jurisdiction , is one of the five Saxon labor courts .

Seat and District of the Court

The court has its seat in Chemnitz at Zwickauer Straße 54 .

The Chemnitz Labor Court is locally responsible for legal disputes from the city of Chemnitz , the district of central Saxony and the Ore Mountains district. The factual jurisdiction results from the Labor Court Act .

Superior courts

The Labor Court of Chemnitz is superordinate to the Saxon State Labor Court and, in the further course of action, the Federal Labor Court.

history

There were no separate labor courts in the GDR . Labor law proceedings were negotiated by the conflict commissions and the district and district courts. After reunification , the state of Saxony was re-established. The Saxon state parliament decided on June 12, 1992 with the Saxon Court Organization Act to repeal the district and district courts and to set up labor courts, including the Labor Court in Chemnitz. The Chemnitz Labor Court was responsible for the districts of Annaberg, Brand-Erbisdorf, Chemnitz-Land, Flöha, Freiberg, Hainichen, Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Marienberg, Rochlitz, Stollberg and Zschopau as well as for the district-free city of Chemnitz.
